Free Crossword Puzzles and Free Online Jigsaw Puzzles
There are lots of great web sites out there where you can spend a good few hours playing free or downloadable puzzles - whether it's crosswords, jigsaws or something else.
The internet is a great resource to find things to do. Online jigsaw puzzles are a great way to spend some time and you're never left with a missing piece!
You can choose from a variety of puzzle backgrounds - like landscapes, animal pictures and many more. You can choose the difficulty level by choosing more pieces or having crazy piece shapes like dollar signs, triangles and many more - so much more interesting than a normal puzzle!
Don't think that they are going to be a piece of cake! Most will have timers on them so you can see how quickly you can complete the puzzle. Often there will be a fastest time and an average time so you can see how you compare!
You can also find a variety of crosswords that will vary as usual from fairly simple to very cryptic! At least online if you make a mistake it's easy to rub out!
