Silver
surfers
Silver
surfers is a phrase that came about as the influx of the more experienced
age groups began adopting internet technology. The notion of browsing
through different website became known as "surfing" and the
"silver" originates (from the often far-from-reality!) assumption
that many older people have elements of the colour silver in their hair.
Some find silver surfers to be a derrogatory term whereas other just find
"silver surfers" to be a bit of lighthearted fun. Whatever one's
take on the matter - silver surfers are here to stay and Seniority
is the perfect place to meet others.
